Helmet Design Features:
The helmet features a multi-part, hidden seam design that allows you to assemble the helmet without the need for glue. This allows you to verify a good fit before committing to the final build.
The helmet comes with a template for how to cut a flat sheet of your preferred visor material to fit inside the main crown of the helmet.
The helmet also features a magnetically attached neck to easily take the helmet on and off.
The face plate can also be removed and replaced as it utilizes a friction fit impressions that allow you to flex the smaller, thinner face plate into place. If additional security is desired, the common pin used throughout the helmet can also secure the face plate into place.
This face plate as well as the rebreathers have alternate variants to allow for various customization options including a Reiver Face Plate.
For the brow studs, there is a printable template included to allow you to accurately glue them to your helmet
Lastly, the helmet features a sizing ring that represents the narrowest part of the helmet (the cheeks where the side tubes enter the helmet). This sizing ring can be printed to ensure your head will fit inside the helmet.
Designed for Printers of All Sizes:
Most of the pieces shown have multiple different printing options. Larger pieces have sliced options that split the pieces for printers with volumes as small as 250^3 mm.
This assumes you are printing at 100% scale. Additionally this armor is scaled to a 6ft person.
If you run into any issues fitting any of the pieces on your printer, contact me and as with all my models I will offer custom slicing free of charge.
