Multi-Part Assembly
The full mace comes out to 1.1 meters or ~43 inches long. There are two build options for the mace.
The mace is designed to fit around a wooden dowel that is 1 inch thick. The length is your's to choose but the image shown assumes 1 meter in length for the core pole. Tolerances have already been included to make sliding onto your pole of choice easy.
The first assembly option is to print each flange of the mace in three separate pieces. This method makes the painting and sanding of each flange a much easier process.
The second assembly option is to print the entire print head in three different pieces where the flanges are combined.
The thirds of the mace in each of these methods are compatible, so you can print the bottom and middle of the mace in the merged form and print the separated version of the top of the mace head in order to make sanding/painting the engraved portion of the mace easier.
The sword is comprised of a multi-part, peg based assembly that is designed to fit on most printers. Build print volume of 225^3mm required.
